About the Abcessed Foreskin
A fitted foreskin is a condition in which the foreskin is narrower than the glans, and when the foreskin is forced to expose the glans, the area under the glans is constricted at the outlet of this foreskin. The foreskin appears to constrict the glans. So the foreskin does not go down to the rod area but stops under the glans.
A fitted foreskin is usually the result of the foreskin covering the glans for an extended period of time. If this condition persists, inflammation between the foreskin and glans occurs, causing pain and adhesions. Prolonged inflammation and congestion can lead to necrosis of the glans, requiring surgery as soon as possible.
Specific Symptoms of Abcessed Foreskin
1 Complete non-exposure of the glans: The foreskin covers the glans and the glans is not exposed at all.
2 Adhesion of foreskin and glans: The foreskin is caught on the glans and is difficult to return.
3 Inflammation: Inflammation may occur when the foreskin is strongly pulled on the glans. This can cause swelling, redness, and pain.
4 Discomfort: Continued adhesion of the foreskin to the glans causes discomfort, pain, and itching.
