Considering glans augmentation while visiting Japan?
Hyaluronic acid glans augmentation is a treatment to discuss when planning a visit to PRO CLINIC in Japan. It aims to change the volume and contour of the glans using injections, rather than removing foreskin. It is not a treatment for a tight foreskin and does not replace circumcision when surgery is needed.

Plan your consultation and follow-up before arranging travel. Injection treatment still carries risks, including swelling, bruising, infection, lumps, asymmetry and, rarely, impaired blood supply or tissue damage. Effects are temporary. Suitability, recovery and the timing of flying, bathing, swimming and sexual activity need individual medical advice. A short visit does not guarantee suitability.
Foreskin concerns: understand your treatment options
Adult circumcision removes excess foreskin. PRO CLINIC lists Basic, Advance and PRO plans with different approaches to incision placement and frenulum management. Ask the doctor to explain the planned scar position and whether the frenulum will be preserved, divided or reconstructed.
Circumcision plans range from JPY 298,000 to JPY 598,000, including tax. The lower-priced thread lifts reposition foreskin and are a different procedure; they should not be mistaken for the price of circumcision. A narrow foreskin opening, adhesions or previous surgery may require a different plan or an additional procedure after examination.
Circumcision risks include bleeding, infection, swelling, wound problems, scarring and altered sensation. Your itinerary must allow for postoperative care and any required review. Obtain written instructions before confirming your return flight.

STI testing at PRO CLINIC
PRO CLINIC offers testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs, also called STDs). Our doctors can consult in English. Tell us your concerns, the timing and type of any possible exposure, and your travel dates so the clinician can discuss suitable tests and follow-up.
The published consultation fee is JPY 3,300. Tests and treatment have separate listed prices. For example, the consultation plus the JPY 7,700 urine panel comes to JPY 11,000 before any other tests or treatment. Confirm whether the consultation is included in your chosen package; the package table does not establish this.
A negative-confirmation test item refers to a specific infection at a specific sample site; it is not a repeat of every panel. The clinician determines whether and when repeat testing is appropriate. Confirm sample sites, result timing, any repeat tests and the full written quote before agreeing to testing.
No single test or fixed waiting period answers every exposure. Symptoms or a recent exposure may need prompt assessment. This page does not promise immediate results, walk-in access or anonymous testing. Confirm testing availability and result arrangements with your appointment branch. ED injections / ICI injections / ED medication
Same-day sexual activity may be possible
These treatments do not involve the same wound-healing period as circumcision. If your doctor considers the treatment suitable and gives you instructions for its use, sexual activity may be possible on the day. The exact injection or medicine, your health and your response still matter.
Sightseeing & everyday plans
Ask about alcohol with your specific treatment and medicines. Avoid heavy drinking; do not assume that same-day treatment means unrestricted drinking or a guaranteed result.

Hyaluronic acid for the glans or penile shaft
Plan for 1–2 weeks without sexual activity
Dr Yuzaki suggests allowing 1–2 weeks before resuming sexual activity after this treatment, with the actual timing confirmed by your treating doctor. Swelling, tenderness and uncomfortable erections can occur, and some people need longer.
Sightseeing & everyday plans
Gentle sightseeing may be possible if you feel comfortable and your doctor agrees. Keep your itinerary flexible and follow the instructions for exercise, bathing and follow-up.

Circumcision surgery
At least 4 weeks without sex, and until fully healed
Allow at least four weeks without sexual activity or masturbation, and wait until the wound has healed and your doctor permits resumption. Bleeding, swelling and discomfort can occur. Dr Yuzaki recommends planning roughly a week of rest or reduced activity at the start.
Sightseeing & everyday plans
Strenuous activity can increase bleeding. Bungee jumping, vigorous sports and other demanding excursions are unsuitable during early recovery. Ask when each activity can restart; one week is not automatic clearance.
